ONE FC Singapore and New class!

 In News

As most of you guys know, we have just come back from Singapore from the latest ONE FC, one of the Team M.A.D fighters Thanh Vu competed in the Bantamweight GP. He unfortunately lost due to TKO in the 2nd round against Kevin Bellignon from the Phillipines.

We are very proud of Thanh and the work he has put in to preparation for this fight. It unfortunately did not go his way and we feel maybe it was a due to a few factors, we don’t make excuses for a loss, we just use them as fuel and experience to become better, in saying that, Thanh did Team M.A.D and his fans proud and showed that he will never back down in a fight (watch the fight onefc.com to see what we mean). He will be back competing in ONE FC fairly soon, just waiting for his next match up and when that happens, you guys will be the first to know! This experience has made him hungrier for the next win and no doubt he will show you guys another great fight!

We made a lot of great connections and friends in Singapore and want to thank our friends at Impact MMA in Singapore for giving us use of their facility and their great hospitality. If you are ever training in Singapore or thinking of heading across to Asia, Singapore has amazing quality for MMA, definitely hit these guys up though!

It was great experience for Thanh to be in the same corner as legends of MMA including Jens Pulver, Brock Larson and Boku. This is the type of quality being signed to ONE FC which is very impressive.

Now that we are back in action in the gym, we have some exciting new changes for the gym. We will announce these over the next few weeks! There is one I can tell you all that there will be a new self defense class added, this will focus on MMA principles and techniques and other combinations of Martial Arts for the street that we previously have taught to many police and military personnel. This class will be once a week and wont be so much about cardio or fitness, but more raw self defense techniques and situations. We will post up the start date shortly.

That’s it for now..but we will see you all on the Mat!
